Community rules
The Freshy community is a place to share ideas on how to waste less food. To keep it useful and pleasant, we ask for just a few things.
What's welcome
- Ideas, tricks and recipes to use what you already have at home.
- Questions, even simple ones: nobody is born an expert in food storage.
- Suggestions and criticism of Freshy, as long as they're respectful.
What's not allowed
- Insults, personal attacks, vulgar or discriminatory language.
- Advertising, spam, promotional links or collecting contacts.
- Other people's personal data: phone numbers, addresses, emails.
- Advice that is dangerous to health, such as eating spoiled or mouldy food.
- Content copied from others without citing the source.
How the check works
Before it appears, every post and comment is read by an automatic system that uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). If everything is fine, it's published straight away. If there are doubts, it waits until a member of the team reads it. If it clearly breaks these rules, it isn't published.
The Freshy team may edit or remove any content and, in serious or repeated cases, stop an account from writing.
Translations
You can write in your own language: articles, posts and comments are automatically translated (again with Google Gemini) into the reader's language, and readers can always view the original text.
What others see
Only the public name you chose appears next to what you write. Your email is never shown. Details are in the privacy policy.
Want to delete something you wrote?
Write to Email from your account's email address and we'll remove it.
