for the press

Everything you need to write about Freshy: the story, up-to-date figures, images and a direct contact.

Freshy at a glance

Freshy is a free app (with an optional Premium subscription) for iPhone and Android that helps households reduce food waste: you scan the product barcode, note the expiry date and the app reminds you before the food goes off.

It launched on 20 June 2026 and is available in Italian, English, Spanish, French and German.

Alongside the app there's a blog with a community, a seasonal calendar and a public page showing the community's impact, updated daily.
